Week 3

Alright alright! So my week one picks were pretty darn good. By that I am mainly referring to the blame me picks, where only Plaxico Burress fell short (like zero points short).  And yes, Steve Smith had another nice day, but I am still not ready to jump on the CamWagon.  My weekly monsters section may just be too much of a crapshoot to merit continuing but we will see. Enough with the jib jab, here is what week 3 looks like.

Week 3 Monsters: here are a few guys you were going to start anyways, but I am calling to be in the top 5 scorers.

Drew Brees: Now maybe this is just wishful thinking because he is my QB, but Brees has quietly racked up some impressive stats against solid teams. Next week he has the Texans, who don't have half the talent of the pack and bears, who Brees handled just fine. Now that I have written this he will probably be my Madden curse athlete.

Mrs. Brady
Tom Brady: why not?

Blame Me Picks: Have a couple of decent players that you cant decide on? Try one of these guys and blame me if it blows up in your face

Willis McGahee: Man, i knew rhis guy would be good, but alas he was drafted in our division. Knowshon sucks even if he is healthy so look for big things from the vulture. Also look out for Orton if in a bind.

Deverey Henderson: how he didn't get picked up in our conference is mind blowing to me. You are welcome everyone, see Drew Brees.

Fred Jackson: Fitz and Johnson are going to see loads of pressure from NE. Fred shall reap the rewards.

Piners: Bench these guys, you may be tempted to play them but just don't do it

Tony Romo: I told you to play him last week, now it's time to sit him. I don't care how tough you are, 1 week will not adequately heal a punctured lung. Trust me, I am almost a doctor.

Tony Scheffler: I want to love this guy. Big white boy on the Lions with 2 TDs in 2 games? Look closer and you will see had he not gotten that ball last game he would have had a big fat goose egg.

Arian Foster: Just like Arian broke out, Tate is making a statement. Even if Foster plays, Tate will be the go to guy. What a waste of a first rounder.

Anyone on the Seattle Seahawks: Can I just leave this here all year??

Madden Cover Curse: I don't suspect to be right often (if ever) on this one, but here is my prediction for the big time player who is going down this week. Superstars, be warned...

Donovan McNabb: Last year McNabb got thrown around like a ragdoll by the Lions D line. He has a new team but I suspect a similar result. With V Boch and Scary Suh coming at an already banged up McNabb, he seems like a lock for this weeks curse. No team (well maybe the Bills are as hungry for their 3rd straight win, and AP can only do so much. Who is McNabb's backup anyways??
